Description
This gentle herbal salve is designed to nourish, protect, and support nursing nipples. Formulated without essential oils, it’s completely safe for babies and can be applied after each nursing session or as often as needed, no need to wipe off before feeding.
The base is a soothing blend of olive, coconut, and apricot kernel oils infused with rose, calendula, and marshmallow root, herbs traditionally used to calm irritation, promote skin repair, and reduce inflammation. Beeswax provides a natural protective barrier, helping to lock in moisture and shield against further chapping.
For extremely cracked or sore nipples, applying a small amount of expressed breast milk before the balm may help enhance healing. Allow to air dry for about 20 minutes before application.
